Public Relations

Chaired by Mark Oldfield FIRSO

Overall outcome: Increase and retain membership through the promotion of IRSO activities.

Its task is to produce the Institute Journal (InRoads) and develop it in a professional, visionary direction in line with the aims and objectives of the business plan; to liaise and encourage effective involvement of group PROs/Reps and assist the Editor in various duties. It actively seeks sponsorship for the Institute along with the Finance Committee.

The current targets of the Committee are:

  • Improved member satisfaction with IRSO Public Relations support and service
  • Increase and retain membership for IRSO
  • Increase the number of Active members
  • Promote the work of committees and local area groups
