South Western Group
Continued Professional Development (CPD) training days are well attended in the South West Area. Training has covered subjects such as The Role of the Police, Liaison with Health Authorities, Integrated Transport, Promoting the Skills of Road Safety Officers and usually takes place between 10.00am and 3.00pm. Although the training is organised primarily for South West Area Group (SWAG) members, all interested parties are welcome, i.e. non-SWAG members, non-IRSO members, private organisations. Although priority is given to SWAG members, pre-booking is essential.
From 2002, one main training event will be held each year, usually in the autumn, for which a small fee will be charged. Other meetings may be arranged according to demand or local need.
