Yorkshire & Humberside Group
Our aim is to provide low cost training days for Road Safety Professionals and associated fields. We run approximately 2 or 3 training days each year in which we encourage our members to identify training needs which we can then address.
Our next training day will be on 6th October at Goole Leisure Centre. Here Risky Things Theatre Company will be showcasing a drama project called 'Are We There Yet' that was developed in conjunction with the Yorkshire and Humberside Area Group and which has been used for several years to help deliver positive seatbelt messages and promote positive behaviour in cars.
The afternoon of our training day will see members of the theatre company helping those people who attend develop their own ideas for drama projects. We are asking delegates to come to the day with ideas of things they might like to develop within their own authorities.
